Your Role and Responsibilities:
- As a Kennel Assistant, you play a vital role in the positive experience our furry friends have with us. Playtime is an important part of your job and we rely on you to help our boarded animals exercise and have a fun day. Whether it’s taking dogs for walks, playing fetch, or giving cuddles, you get to be creative and enjoy your workday. Additional responsibilities include feeding boarding dogs, maintaining cleanliness of the hospital interior and the exterior play yards, monitoring animals closely all day for changes in health or behavior, and sanitation upkeep. Overall, you take pride in creating an exceptional experience for our four-legged customers and their owners!

Additional Salary Information:
We are a unique animal hospital that invests in our team and offers real opportunities for career growth. This full time kennel attendant position works three full day shifts, one half day shift, and one day off during the week along with rotating Saturday and Sunday split shifts. Full days are scheduled 7:30am-6:00pm and half days are 7:30am-1pm or 1pm-6pm. Full time kennel attendants earn a competitive wage of $15-$17 per hour.
